Major service, Graypaul Nottingham
A major service and full inspection was carried out at Graypaul Ferrari Nottingham at 3,746 miles, covering everything from fluid levels and lighting to drive shafts, seals, and underbody protection. Every item on the standard checklist came back marked OK.
Two items were flagged as recommended rather than urgent: a suspension geometry check with track rod end, and the driver's front tie rod end gaiter, noted as slightly split. Both were authorised and carried out, totalling £1,570.79 including VAT. It would have been easy to leave this entry at 'passed inspection', but a record that only ever shows green tells you less than one that shows what came up and what was done about it.
Everything else measured in healthy territory. The clutch was recorded at 12 per cent worn, discs at 1.8 per cent front and rear, with pads at a full 10mm and rated good on both axles. The battery tested good and was recharged. Tyres, staggered Michelin Pilot Sport 4S front and rear, showed even tread across the board with no signs of uneven wear.
A small but thoughtful touch: the original service book was full after eighteen years of stamps, so Graypaul supplied a new one alongside it, ready to document the next chapter from 2026 onwards.
This was also the first time using Graypaul Nottingham. February meant salt and sludge on the roads, so the car went both ways by enclosed transport rather than being driven, and I couldn't have been happier with the care taken over it. A small extra cost, but the right call for preserving a car in this condition.
Another year of peace of mind, and another entry in an unbroken main dealer history.
